My name is Alexa Nuzzo. I am 19 and have studied visual art for about 10 years. In particular I've gravitated towards painting, illustration, and traditional photography. In this, I've gleaned experience with developing film and working in the dark room to print my photos from my negatives. For painting, I've also had access to trained professionals in the art world who have constantly challenged my creativity from a conceptual standpoint as well as a visual one. Consequently, I developed a body of work in both fields consisting of commentary on the relationship between friendships and people's relationships with their environments whether it be school, home, or nature, etc.
